Hospital Systems, Inc. Isolated Power Centers are designed to provide ungrounded service within the operating room, or in any critical care area. The Isolated Power Centers include an isolation transformer, primary and secondary circuit breakers, a Line Isolation Monitor and an equipotential ground bus. The Isolated Power Centers are available for vertical or horizontal mounting.

Isolation transformers are of low-leakage shielded plate design, available in 3, 5, 7.5, and 10 kVA ratings. At full load, the entire system noise level does not exceed 25dB and the temperature of the front cover is limited to a maximum of 15°C above an ambient of 25°C.

Circuit breakers are 10kAIC rated, with a trip level not to exceed 5mA. When typically equipped, the Isolated Power Center includes one main and eight two-pole secondary circuit breakers.
