The Remote X-ray Control station controls the power and signal circuits to each of the X-ray isolated power receptacles.
As more circuits are activated on an isolated power system the leakage current becomes greater. Therefore, a mechanically interlocking pushbutton control with a special lock-out feature allows only one receptacle to be activated at a time.
The control station has a pushbutton and a unique flag indicator for each outlet. When pressed, a pushbutton will activate its outlet and deactivate all the other outlets. The face of the button changes from red to green, indicating at a glance which circuit is closed. As there are no lamps to burn out, the control station is virtually maintenance free. A remote hazard indicator is also included to monitor the status of the isolated power panel [see data sheet on the Remote Hazard Indicator]. This indicator is activated at all times and is independent of the pushbutton control.
The front trim is of 304 stainless steel with a #4 brushed finish, and is attached to the code gauge steel, baked enamel backbox with stainless steel screws.
