The Hospital Systems Rigid Ceiling Column has 18 gauge sides and 14 gauge bottom plates with a No. 4 Brushed Satin finish. All welds are ground smooth for seamless appearance. Four (4) side-mounted IV Hooks are provided. An access panel is furnished to facilitate installation and servicing of internal components.
The Ceiling Column terminates approximately 6’6” (2009above the finished floor. The standard ceiling column length is 36” (915mm). The installer must verify ceiling height for correct column length. A stainless steel finisher is provided to cover any variations in ceiling finish.
The Medical Gas Outlets are factory installed and pre-piped within the column, and extend 6” (150mm) above the ceiling mounting plate. Final connection to the Medical Gas Distribution System is made by the installer. Medical Gas Outlets can be provided in BS, DIN, or any US standards. The Electrical Contractor provides the electrical wiring to factory installed electrical receptacles.
