Hospital Systems, Inc. Hose Reels are designed for use with non-flammable medical gas and vacuum systems at locations where overhead connection and concealed retracting of the hose is desired. A companion Electrical Service Reel provides electrical services from the same point.
Specifications Hose Reels:
Each Hose Reel Assembly shall accommodate one or two gas service valve connections. Hose Reel assemblies can be field ganged to accommodate multiple gas services. Each gas service reel shall be fitted with twelve feet of hose. Pressure hoses shall be ¼” I.D. Vacuum hoses shall be 5/16”I.D. Reel assembly shall be designed for concealed mounting with a stainless steel coverplate. Each gas shall be indicated by prominent color-coded service identification. The backbox shall be constructed of 14ga. steel and shall have a baked powder coat finish. Replacement of hoses and minor service shall be accomplished without totally removing reel assemblies from mounting box. Connections from Reel to pipeline shall be through DISS outlets to allow use of the piping systems when Reel is disconnected. Reels shall be repairable on location and have containerized springs and O-ring swivel connection.
Specifications Electrical Reels:
Each Electrical Service Reel Assembly shall accommodate one or two power cord(s). The reel(s) shall be spring-loaded for easy retraction. The reel(s) shall be heavy-duty type to accommodate 20A 120volt service. The unit is provided with 15ft of 12AWG/3 conductor cable with a Hospital Grade, duplex, electrical receptacles. The backbox shall be constructed of 14ga. steel and shall have a baked enamel finish.
Electrical and Gas Reel Assemblies may be ganged to provide many combinations.
